Smart Lock Integration for a North American Shared Mobility Fleet

Project Background

A shared mobility operator needed a smart locking solution for high-frequency public-use e-bikes. The vehicles had to support remote operation, reliable locking status feedback and long-term outdoor use.

Customer Challenge

Shared mobility vehicles face frequent use, outdoor exposure and higher anti-theft requirements. The customer needed a lock system that could support remote control while reducing the safety risk of unintended locking during wheel movement.

Elevandi Solution

Elevandi provided a smart lock solution with speed sensing logic, vehicle-side communication support and anti-lock mechanical protection. Depending on the vehicle structure, the solution can be matched with drum brake locks, hub locks or motor hub lock systems.
